To the People of the
Village of Seacliff, NY Tonight as you gather upon the shores of the sea... Pray with your fellow neighbors for the world to see! For the lives of all that are lost to you and me Here in our land, the Home of the brave and the free!
Many of our children, so much younger back then... They will only remember if they know about when... We were with fears... So many families with tears... Help them share and to take part... In always remembering this day in their heart...
We all revere and respect in our many cultural ways... It doesn't matter what kind of band plays... But that the music to the world's ears has everyone's tones and sound From jazz, country, classic, rap, rock continues to pound To a common drum roll and similar beat Remembering 911 in every American they meet!
For our colors will never run... They cannot defeat us, only stun! It was a horrible day and took us with total shock... But, their losses we will not permit anyone to mock! Stop, hold hands with one and all on the street... Say, "September 11, we'll never forget" to every person you meet!
